Why stop with blaming the railroads for the plight of the drayage contractors???
Many of those containers are going to 'big box stores' where many of the store employees are also on the low end of the pay & benefits scale. Following your logic, then since the railroads facilitated the movement of the inventory/sales stock of those stores the railroads are now responsible for the lower paid employees of the various Big Box Stores and their similar counterparts at the "Dollar" stores???
