When I first started working this territory. There was and old building and a spur where the connection needs to be, it would have been easy to rebuild and connect on both ends to the different subdivisions. When the land started to be redeveloped the spur and the building were torn out. I have wyed many Auto trains at Lathrop coming off of the Oakland sub so that they were positioned to go south on the Fresno sub this was a very common move a before Toyota closed the plant at Warm Springs.
