Re: Guess the body of water in this photo

It looks like its somewhere in the Sierras, but couldn't tell you anything about the location or name of the water.
I think the possible lakes that this picture took place at are:
- Lake Oroville
- Goose Lake
- Upper Klamath Lake
- any of the lakes near Cascade Summit, OR
- Utah Lake
- San Carlos Lake
- Owens Lake
- San Luis Res.
Some of the things in the picture that would help you determine the location of this picture is that the vegetation is dry while the lake seems pretty full. You don't see a whole lot Oak Trees. There's some snow on the mountains in the background, so the elevation is high enough to snow in the winter. The mountains also seem kind of extreme, so it's most likely in some sort of mountain range. And the clouds are built up pretty big, just as the clouds would be in a place where two extreme weather fronts would meet up, like where the Nevada desert air meets up with the mountain air from the Sierras.
Even though I can keep guessing, I couldn't tell you for sure where this was taken.
