New Steam

You people sure do a lot of talking - and shooting about oil - so faced with oil fast running out and nuclear power incapable of meaningful sustained net energy why don’t you people go lead the way and go build a coal fueled ACE type prototype and then the World can see that new steam power will be cheaper and as good as existing diesels. We can then follow you and you will make loads of dough again - like GE/M did in the 50/60’s. My prototype proposal is for a mixed trafic 8 coupled compound version with PF fueled water tube boiler – 600 psi should suffice. DB TE aprrox 18%, water range approx 1000 miles between top up - like SAR 25C. The trick as I see it is in making coal cleaner to handle and burn as operationally and engineering wise an ACE would be little different to a diesel. So don’t delay guys go ask Geordie for some bucks and go make it happen - asap!
PS if you cant then for the good Lords sake give me the dough and l will show you how to make it happen - cheers guys and have a nice day now!
