The cantenary supports have not been removed. They only took down the wire and its hangers and etc.

Some of the cars and the 2 Electoliners have saved. Both The Fox River Trolley Museum in South Elgin, Il and The Illinois Railway Museum in Union, Il, have operational North Shore cars.
