Re: CW line damaged in fire

I drove Highway 2 through the burned area Tuesday while fires were still burning. The railroad parallels the highway through part of the burned area. I didn't see the aforementioned bridge, but I did see numerous ties on fire. When I got back to Davenport, I happened upon a EGWRR crew working the elevators here. They said it would be a long time before they got west of Rocklyn again.
I did see a picture of the burned bridge on one of the Spokane news stations. All that was left were rails hanging in the air. I will have to go back out there to see if I can find it for a picture.
