Those gosh darn progressives. Let's get rid of Congressional progressives so that only conservatives and radical right Congressmen are in office. That way the GOP can accomplish its goal of killing Amtrak. Then there will be no trains, and therefore, no one will be at King Street station to tell you to get off the platform.

Those gosh darn progressives in Europe investing all that money in high-quality intercity rail passenger service. Why can't they be like USA politicians and understand that the CAR IS KING. And for those who are unable or unwilling to drive, they can ride buses.
