It is barged from Alaska and then put on the train in the Puget Sound area.
Hawaii is looking at shipping to one of these locations. Some debate about where to unload the ships/barges. Native Americans say that proposed barge unloading facilities will be in conflict with their fishing rights. Environmentalists say that organisms not native to the northwest will be introduced.
