Things I miss about the old days in the Bay Area.
Watching ton of freight train action while fly fishing in Niles Canyon as a kid in the late 80's-90's
My dad driving me over to Warm Springs yard to watch SW-1500's switch auto racks on any given Saturday.
The yard master who drove around in the old white surburban at Newhall, letting me poke around the yard.
SP conductors in their SPT uniforms and billed Hat's calling out station names over the mic on Caltrain. ( stil have a punnched SPT/Caltrain ticket from the last day before SP handed over operations to Amtrak in 92'
