Actually these condos are quite new, completed about a year ago. They are advertised as luxury, and go for $1550/month minimum for 1 bedroom! Bet somebody wants his money back. Even as a railfan I don't think I'd want to live *quite* that close to the tracks, especially as that is right at the end of a sharp curve (one leg of a former Y).
