My list was wrong on the railroads that Permian Basin is in the process of buying. Permian (Iowa Pacific Holdings) did not buy the Sierra, but are looking at Sierra's other Northern California properties, the Skunk Line. They need the Yreka Western Railroad to gain "Timber Products" loads to go over the Siskiyou's. They now have Roseburg Forest Products loads and that means taking from CORP the line from Weed, CA to Dillard, Oregon.
