Oroville/Durham and Hamilton City to Chico

The merger mania of the 1990's made little sense for UP as a System. Duplications and non-connection with routes going the same direction.Durham is a reality with few too complain about it. Let's not forget re-establishing the Hamilton City line to Chico. Ten miles more and an expensive bridge . But can divert all eastern traffic over Portolia from the north plus some of the Oakland traffic as well. Fits in with Pacific Rim Railroad who can deliver Humboldt to Tehama and skip route to Wendel.
