No sure exactly, but they are working on Two tracks and bridges for NCTD and wanking away at DT for the Trolley to UTC (east of UCSD) and later to UCSD.

Projects are hand in glove, with a miracle of getting ducks in a row for funding and contracting. Trolley ROW on east side of 'Coaster' ROW (four tracks total) till flyover near Gilman Drive(?). Several new NCTD/Coaster bridges in place already but need track including the San Diego River bridge.

Lots of concrete retainers being used to develop the 2nd track earthwork in Rose Canyon, a well known, but inactive fault zone. Special wall work on channel to get all four tracks under State Highway 52.

Seeing is believing. Come down and ride the train sometime.
