OK BN, if you're going to use a wide open term like "uses drugs" you could say that just about all of us use drugs. Would you rather have someone in a safety sensitive position (airline pilot, passenger train engineer, etc.) with an untreated medical condition that could affect their safety or response just so they could be said to not be "on drugs"? My and I believe Bob2's point is: just because "drugs" we found in their systems doesn't necessarily mean they had anything to do with the accident. In an accident investigation as soon as drugs come into the picture it seems way to easy to just say "well there you go! Drugs!" and then not look as deeply into other probable causes. That's all I'm saying.
