Sitting pretty at Santa Fe's "square roundhouse" in San Bernardino, CA on March 5, 1972 are EMD SD45X's 4203 and 5740. They would help power the 805-train a little later in the day. This engine facility got it's nick-name due to the small sqaure-ish shop building that accompanied the servicing and ready tracks. This facility, on the south side of the mainline and adjacent A-yard, was almost directly across from the older servicing facilities that it replaced several years prior, on the north side of A-yard."
