Think it's fair to say the collection has been controversial since day one.

Also fair to say it's arrival overwhelmed the museum...on a lot of levels.

Having had a close-up look at the storage area many years ago..
my comment is...the artifacts arrived but there was no funding to look after them.

So it's a bit unfair to blame the museum for that.

To provide a good home for some of those artifacts seems like proper stewardship to me.
