Vision Zero

In the image of the side guard in the above post you can see a sign reading "vision zero". This is a movement started in Sweden that has spread world wide. Its purpose is to reduce road deaths to zero.

We aren't doing so well in the US on that. Since the price of gas went down (and the amount of driving went up) we have had a 30% increase in deaths and are approaching 40,000 per year.
