MacMillan-Piper in Seattle (facility viewable by walking across the Airport Way bridge) has been transloading grain from hopper cars into 'tilted" containers for several decades.
While its not
obvious from the photo that the container is tilted, the level of grain at the far end is much higher. I first saw the tilted containers getting filled there in the late 1990's.
