The Chinese probably don't need to buy it. They bought some GE locomotive kits, so they already have all the technology. With locomotive sales dropping, I doubt if GE will get nearly the price they hope for. But GE has a history of selling at the bottom of the market. I still think Siemens or private equity are likely interested. Don't think Berkshire Hathaway would work because of their ownership of BNSF. If the stock price keeps dropping, Warren might be able to buy the entire company!
