13.5 mile tunnel to San Jose

This is not a new article (October) but highlights the problem of the Gilroy alignment.

Estimate is that CA Hi speed rail has $21 Billion get a starter system going, and that may be optomistic.

The one tunnel could eat 6 to 14 billion of that (whole segment budgeted for 5).

Who owns the lipstick futures?
