WOW !!! Really interesting footage. The Hi - railer shown at 3:40 is a 1973 AMC Matador 4 - door sedan; the same type used in the TV series ADAM - 12 ( and the L.A.P.D. ) in later days. I'm thinking it was owned by BN, as Union Pacific was only a tenant on these tracks. The yellow paint was no doubt for higher visibility reasons.
The shots of Amtrak trains #11 & 14 are also of interest; the S/B had 17 cars including a EwePee business car, while the N/B was 16 cars.
