I'd second the Durango & Silverton ride. The Animas River Canyon is quite spectacular, best seen from a " Vista -Gon" . Haven't been since 1992; am planning a return trip. Question: is the boxcar turned motorhome deal still available ??? It was offered when I rode. You chartered a converted boxcar for 5 days, they ran a special train with your party onboard up to the wye ( Rockwood ? ), and left you there. Sounds SOOOO COOL...
