Allegedly California has 40% of US welfare cases. Why would you want to build an expensive rail line to Vegas to encourage and enable people dropping their discretionary(and rent money)in another state?

Build the blinking casinos in California. Secondly why sprawl another LA in the high desert after what happened and will continue to happen in Ventura and elsewhere?

The default route for LA-SF ground transport is Altamont, I-5, Tejon.
