What kills me is that when the government get's involved in making a transit system the first thing that is done is blow millions on studies and infrastructure. How about they rent some equipment from CALTRAIN and set up a basic service to see how it is accepted. CALTRAIN has ADA lifts so you don't have to build big high platforms like what SMART did. Just keep it simple and cheap and give it a go. If people like it then pump more into it. Personally I think it would be a great ride.
