Railroads and Trophy Trucks do not generally occupy the same terrain and yes Copper Canyon was
built so anything is possible. The amount of container traffic is going to stabilize at some point
at which there will be excess capacity. Based on current wage and taxation levels that would mean
that LA and Long Beach would close and the traffic would flow elsewhere. While I don't care for
what "unk diego" says, he does speak the truth. I still believe that faced with the debt load
required to construct PC it will be a white elephant, though only because of that. The required
maintenance on a line across Baja would be sizable as would the fuel costs. From reading the
prospectus I would think that Mexico is looking for someone to come in and cover ALL construction
costs for a piece of the action, should be interesting.
