One of the train haters asked why the Azusa to Montclair segment would take so long to complete:

It is also a matter of cash flow at MTA, as well. But, this segment has more work to do than the recent extension.

Again, leadership matters, which is why this project has been so successful, and well received by the public, from the first segment from LA to Pasadena....

Attention to details that matter, responding to real community concerns with understanding and innovative solutions, making good on actual project delivery milestones, good oversight, good communications, sound cost estimates, good quality control, proactive management, and quick response to problems are some of the reasons this project remains my "gold standard" for project planning and construction. As opposed to say.....SMART or the disastrous CHSRA fiasco....?????
