Follow the links to the section on tarrifs and read the whole thing. Bottom line is it costs in the high-5 digits/low 6-digits to transit the canal now. It will be higher when/if the canal is enlarged, deepened and the proposed new locks are built. And even then, the facility will not be able to accomodate the largest box ships now already sailing and on the building ways.
