Boy, ain't that the truth. I got caught up unexpectedly in foamer traffic north of Hearne, TX. when the UP 3985 was heading to Houston at track speed for the Super Bowl a few years back. Boy, talk about taking your life in your own hands! How can you even glance at the train in a 60 mph. traffic jam when everyone else isn't watching where they are going? I'd hate to see the videos some of these guys were taking, what with one hand on the wheel and the other through the sun roof with a camera in it. Must be quality stuff (yeah, right). One of the scariest things I've ever done.
On the other hand, one of my favorite cars to railfan in was a 1972 Datsun 240Z. Wasn't the biggest or the most powerful, but definitely the most fun!
