Much of the television coverage on the evacuation in New Orleans was centered around the Union Passenger Terminal, which the city used as its central assembly point for train and bus movements. In addition to the Amfleet I coaches stored there in anticipation of the rail-based evacuations, at least one consist included both Superliners and former Connecticut DOT "Constitution Liners" (de-powered Budd SPV 2000 DMUs).
