It has always amazed me how people who have not suffered debilitating injuries can sit in judgment of those who have. I have suffered several major injuries in my lifetime but what occurred February 19th, 2016 was the worst. I was told by more than one doc I was lucky to be alive and that I came within 2mm of becoming a quad. I have been thru several surgeries, countless hours of therapy and physical (and emotional) therapy and, yeah, have slipped into some very dark moods.

I have not been able to drive, hold a camera, or for that matter a pistol since. An accident in 2002 forced me into retirement from trucking and unrelenting months of pain control therapy. So yeah, many is the time I have looked at my .45 Kimber and considered just ending it all. Why didn't I? Don't know for sure but as in 2002 my wife, my cats and trains stopped me.

When I get people like you, I have often considered complete destruction of my photo collection. Until you have been thru any kind of life altering crises, just shut the hell up.
