As long as we are making predictions...

Everybody has heard of the tax changes for individuals. I hope you were able to pay your property taxes early, which depends on what the assessment year is. For example, California's year is from July to June, a winner. On the other hand if your local year is the calendar year I extend my condolences.

The corporate taxes is where the surprises may come. It is pretty complicated and allows for some true creativity. One of the commenters from the Harvard Business School called it a retirement plan for CPAs. Something to watch out for in the new year. And lest I forget, Happy New Year to all!
