UP Olympia line maintenance

UP has a tie gang on the line replacing ties from East Olympia as far as downtown Olympia... why is this noteworthy? Well because other than fixing the section from the brewery to the tunnel under Capitol Way when the sewer broke and washed it out, I can recollect UP doing precisely ZERO work on that line since 1989. I imagine the frac sand cars are a little harder on it than two dozen pellet and corn syrup cars a week and wood rots....

It also looks like PS&P / Belmore & Olympia has replaced the two ex FEC GP40 variants they have been using with the Portland & Western 1803, a GP9. Great to see one of those back in this neck of the woods.
