And you post is an absolute waste of bandwidth. 522 had just left its initial terminal of Jack London square, at 6:30 am. Most people board at Emeryville and Richmond to fill it up.

535 is a mid day train near the end of its journey. Many people had already alighted.

And the third “537” mentioned in the article was actually a deadhead move returning to Oakland with some refurbished cars from Alstom on Mare Island.

What is your idea of a better utilization of the equipment?
