My mistake, Chris. You're right, Espee's E-7 units, including the Madame Queen rebuild, had the big F - Unit numberboards. I was thinking of the early E cab units that had the small bullet - shaped numberboards on the sides. Similar to the numberboards used on early F - Units, they were very difficult to see.
