They are just supposed to come up with things all on their own with no input from enterprise or constituents?

If it was up to the general population, with no input from business lobby, the NIMBY's would legislate dairies, factories, refineries, airports, trains, repair shops, warehouses or anything else that draws public ire out of existence. Yes, some lobbying is slimy, but without business interest represented, the vast horde of complete retards that is the US general population would wreck our economy in NO TIME FLAT.
