Woman struck and killed by train in Northridge is identified

"NORTHRIDGE — A 47-year-old woman struck and killed by a Metrolink train in Northridge was identified Saturday by the coroner’s office.

Pamela Kruse was hit about 6:30 p.m. Thursday, near the 16900 block of Roscoe Boulevard, near Balboa Boulevard and died at the scene, the Los Angeles Fire Department and the coroner’s office said.

Ventura County Line Train 121 to Moorpark was stopped between the Van Nuys and Northridge stations, stranding passengers until about 10:30 p.m. according to Metrolink."
