A sudden need for bridge inspectors?

The Genessee & Wyoming has job openings for 4 bridge inspectors. I'm surprised a short line company would need so many. Is there a sudden need to inspect every bridge down to the bolt and washer? Could this need have something to do with the new bridge rules that shut down the Pend Oreille Valley line?
