More Thinning of the Gene Pool

Well...another trespasser fatality and the UP main tied up for three plus hours while the cops investigate. This one happened Thursday (last night) in Canby, OR at MP 747 and by the time the southbound train got stopped the rear DPU was at the accident scene.

Reports are "the engineer and conductor were cooperating with authorities" and "UP Police were assisting local law enforcement with the investigation"...what's there to investigate...cut the crew loose (or recrew the train) and send them on their way.

This stuff is getting waaaay too common , expensive for the railroads plus delaying trains even more for the customers..
