These cars also had some sort of satellite tracking and an emergency phone number to call if an alarm went off. I gues it been long enough since 1985 when I was a manager at the UP we had one have the alarms go off and we called the number , they had us switch the car out and isolate the car outside the yard on a siding away deform town and by the time we got that all done a couple of helicopters showed up with a team from Hill AFB. The staring checking the load and the alarms and found a bad sensor they changed it out and we put the car on the next train. These cars have a large pallet which the missile is on in a large set of brackets.
The pallet has an air left system and the use a compressor to air it up and then float the unit out of the car onto a transport truck. Cars are equipped with impact detectors
