It's interesting that in all the photos and videos I've seen of the area, there are no signals apparent at the switch where that end of the siding starts. Wonder what NORMALLY governs movement into and out of the siding or on the main between switches? Not that it would have been working at that time anyway, but it seems odd that there are no signals at a siding switch if it's CTC.
