Why the infrastructure hype is just hype-or meanwhile back on earth

More on the $1 trillion dollar infrastructure plan, just boosted recently and made even more bigly at a $1.7 trillion, and why it is just more hype.

Infrastructure Reality-Boston Globe

And, I always love that part about how the States will "partner", I've heard that line bleated out in every infrastructure plan I've seen since Jerry Ford. And, the "private sector" will partner, as though they have magical access to the tooth fairies bank account......

If we wan these things like SMART or Metrolink to actually work like first world rail systems, and we want our freeways fixed, or our potholes patched, we'd better fund them locally, and demand more accountability, because there ain't no magic, rather just the usual hype coming from Washington.

I've got those good old Infrastructure Blues....again.
