Well, I would like a little input here.

Last week, there was an thread on TO about Krebs new book coming out. I added my thoughts and so did other folks. Well, 4 days later the thread vanished. Another thread was started and it was taken down in 12 hours. I sent a note today asking what anybody thought about the book.

My thread was toast in one hour.

I sent a note to the operator of TO and received an answer. (I think his son answered my question. Im not sure.

He said, " The reason the Krebs thread was taken down, was that the poster, was making a political statement, nothing to do with railroads."

The note he sent me vanished in 45" along with my question.

Lets see, Krebs ran the whole shebang for years. It wasn't an airline, it wasn't a bus line, it was a railroad.

What is going on?

Two years ago I quit TO because many of my threads, answers, etc., were deleted. Posted on a list and in 30 to 50" they were gone. Many questions were sent to the owner of TO, with never an answer.

Well, like a fool on a stool, I came back. Looks nothing has changed.

Tonight I get that answer from his son?, and then it is even gone.

I never saw a "political" item about "Krebs". There were a lot of people that he stepped on, being an officer or what ever. I have my opinion, everyone else has theirs. That's what makes this country so great, not being censored.(so to speak) I know the owner of the site can do what he wants, but you will see ONLY the thoughts he wants you to see and nothing that would disagree with his opinion.

Given, he has made a lot of money on this site. But I go on here to hand down history as I know it, stories of what has happened during my many years in engine service. That's all.
