I'm curious, I rode the Desert Wind fairly often in the late 80s and early 90s between SLC and Fullerton, I don't remember having an extra coach added/dropped in Las Vegas on any of my trips. When they did add a car did the UP provide a switcher to grab the car? Where was it stored overnight?
