Let me know when you have no problem with a government agency coming to your front door and knocking on it, and demanding that you MUST allow a certain use of your property on their terms, that they can change the use or terms at any time without your permission, that such is not revocable by you, and they will not pay you anywhere close to fair value for it.

There's a reason that the 2nd through 5th Amendments to the U.S. Constitution exist. I suggest you brief yourself up on it...and remind yourself that since Amtrak is an arm of the U.S. Government it is subject to the Constitutional limitations.

Think the "host" railroads should bear full responsibility? Then I suggest getting your final rides in now, before the current (and shall I say Conservative) SCOTUS rules in favor of the "host" railroads and makes Amtrak prohibitively expensive to insure or pay for trackage rights.
