Objective #3 is interesting. While I can appreciate supporting a tourist rail operation, how do they expect to get any revenue from 3 sawmills, only one of which is presently located on the railroad. Scotia is out of touch because of the Bluff and the A&MR to Korbel has been removed and likely can't be rebuilt. Getting car barges in and out of Humboldt Bay would be dicey at best most of the year, particularly during the winter months. Trucks would be the alternative of choice which is largely why the railroad failed in the first place.
