1727 has suffered some criminal activity in the past few years, with her whistle being sawn off and the bell ringer stolen, along with some cab stuff. I spent many years trying to keep the display up and made the window frames that are in her now as well as the headlight number boards and the cab steps. Sad to see her sit and rot, as she would be an excellent candidate for restoration to operation. Back in 1976, the boiler was tight enough to hold 120lbs. Long story there, but I can tell you that somewhere in my storage is a cassette tape with her whistle on it, and her air pumps cycling.
