MRL"s Ninth Sub (Bitterroot line) is out of service for the most part. Red flag about three miles south of Lolo, and approx. 100+ stored steel coal hoppers are parked between MP 6 and 9, between Missoula and Lolo. These may be removed soon. No other customers.

The Eleventh Sub (Polosn) had about three miles of stored cars between Agency MP 1, and Moseie.

The Phillipsburg branch has been rail banked since MRL started. They had some stored cars just south of Drummond, MT. Those may be gone. Rail is still intact all the way to P-burg, with missing pieces at grade crossings and some culverts and bridges.
