I drove through this area at night and couldn't see a thing! Just about the darkest dark I've ever experienced. The dual-tracked railroad is used to transport the antennas to different configurations and to a maintenance facility. The antennas are parked on a short 'stub' track at a right angle to the line; there are no switches. It appears that the transporter lifts itself up and its trucks are turned to land on the stub track, then rolled to a hard pad and tied down.
