Interesting......I'm sure the Utilities District needs the cash and the extra space? I surely hope the Mt Tam Group can act on this. Why not just donate it to the Timber Heritage Association? They certainly have the ability to move the equipment the short distance to Samoa without much damage to Scotia's precious lawn. What happened to the Scotia Museum?.........a "product" museum set up by PL in the 1950's that had some merit explaining company history. I don't think the locomotive ever turned a wheel for PL and was just used for parts. Maybe Jeff or someone else can comment?
