Those tiny wheels don't do much in keeping the vehicle on the rails with high speed. That's why the 45 mph max. I have seen them walk off curves and wind up way down in the ditch. Lots of damage. You really don't have much braking either. A polished rail and rubber tires don't really help much at high speeds.

Those big 3 axle trucks that have coupler's on both ends and tow around cars are the same. I think they should be locomotives, I saw one north of K Falls ripping right along at 50 plus and the air hoses were not connected. That's what you get hiring scab outfits and UP looks the other way.
